Helen Brennand

Helen is an author and equine professional based in Greater Manchester.  She is founder of The Haven, a centre dedicated to a holistic approach in the care of horses and small animals. It was through her connection with horses and nature that she experienced the therapeutic benefits horses offer us, which led to the writing of her first book, Belief.  The sharing of stories through writing has become a theme at The Haven, and something Helen is strongly passionate about. This has developed into her desire to help young people share their voice through writing and other creative outlets. Her hopes for the future are for everybody to be able to share their stories and to allow the creativity that lives within us all to be freely expressed.

Ali is a FY2 Doctor and is passionate about  supporting, mentoring and enabling young people to get involved in looking after their health and well being. Carolyn Simpson

My history working in General Practice as a practice nurse triggered a passion to help make a positive change in society. Young people are our future. I believe every child from every background deserve a voice to be heard. Opportunities through sport, the arts, life writing & inclusion help them to shine and make a difference in their neighbourhood.
I pride myself in being a great communicator who through experience can connect with children and young people.
I will work to support and help promote self confidence.
